MASTERRIND is Germany’s largest cattle breeding organization, with strong roots in the cooperatives WEU, SRV, and MASTERRIND Hannover eG. Together they form the foundation of a high-performing organization dedicated to advancing cattle breeding and further developing cattle-keeping farms.

The MASTERRIND Group also includes Europe’s largest breeding organization, SYNETICS, as well as probovi, which is responsible for livestock marketing in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. Our top priority is the promotion of the success of our member farms.
With around 6,150 member farms from Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Saxony, we are the first point of contact for cattle breeding, marketing, and comprehensive services.

With approximately 470 committed employees, the MASTERRIND Group generates an annual turnover of about €230 million. Together we manage more than 615,000 milk-recorded and herdbook cows, carry out around 1,300,000 inseminations each year, sell over 1,250,000 semen doses, and market approximately 145,000 cattle worldwide.
