Weidemann has completely redesigned its former LP models and repositioned them as the new 60 series. With six new wheel and telescopic wheel loaders (2060, 2060T, 3060, 3060T, 4060, 4060T), the company offers a clearly structured model range for agriculture, equestrian businesses, municipalities, and commercial/industrial applications. Key features such as low overall height, a low center of gravity, and high performance have been consistently retained.
The machines are available with either a loader arm or telescopic arm and are based on a modular design principle, simplifying operation and servicing. A standout feature is the new, spacious cab with a four-post design, optimized all-round visibility, a wider entry, and ergonomically arranged controls including a multifunction joystick. Improved ventilation, optional air conditioning, and reduced noise levels enhance operator comfort and safety.
All models are powered by uniform Kohler engines meeting Stage V emission standards, equipped with DPF and DOC. Output ranges from 57 hp (2060/2060T) to 65 hp (3060/3060T) and 75 hp (4060/4060T). The electronically controlled ecDrive system offers four driving modes for either maximum performance or greater efficiency. An 80-liter fuel tank increases operating range.
Enhanced service accessibility, a newly designed center joint, a central service flap, and different braking options improve maintenance and safety. Lift heights from 3.24 to 5.04 meters enable versatile applications. Optional features such as a rear-view camera, immobilizer, and the “Lowering Assistant” on the 4060T further increase operating comfort and stability.
The redesign is complemented by a modern facelift. The 60 series received the German Design Award for its successful combination of functionality, ergonomics, and sustainability.
